This recipe is an easy and tasty solution for mothers wanting to feed a delicious burger to their kids without compromising their health.
Let’s get started with this crunchy and delicious cutlet for the burger with these ingredients:
½ chopped cabbage
½ cup finely cut onions
1 cup cut potatoes
½ cup cut French beans
½ cup cut carrots
Any flour or maida
Breadcrumbs to cover the cutlet
2-4 tablespoons oil for deep frying
1 tsp chili powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
3 tbsp chopped coriander
Salt as per taste
Cooking Instructions To Get That Perfect Patty:
Put some oil in a deep pan and after it heats up a bit, add the cut onions into it. Sauté it until it turns pink on a medium flame. Now add the rest of the vegetables, stir them and cover the pan with a lid until they become soft. You can sprinkle some water to keep the vegetables from burning. Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt into the mixture and stir it well. Add maida to the pan, mix, and cook them for a minute or two. Switch off the gas and put the coriander leaves on top of it. Now mash the potatoes and other veggies and mix them. Use a knife and divide them into equal-sized cutlets. Now one by one put the cutlet into a bowl of maida and cover them with breadcrumbs. Now put each cutlet into the pan, and deep fry them until golden brown.
Get these items for the Chilli mayo spread:
4 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp red chili sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp chopped garlic
Other ingredients:
4 burger buns
4 tsp melted butter
4 lettuce leaves
4 cheese slices or more as needed
Mix everything for the Chilli mayo spread in a bowl and separate the mixture into different containers.
Now for the salad, slice 2-3 capsicums, take ½ cup boiled potatoes, and cut into long strips. Sauté them with butter, salt, and pepper. Make sure to keep them a bit crunchy.
Now Get Everything Together In A Veggie Burger In This Way:
Cut the buns into two horizontally and put them on a tawa to toast them well. Now keep them aside and spread the sauce you have prepared on both the bun’s pieces on the inner side. Take one half of the bun and place a lettuce leaf, the patty, and a cheese slice on top of it. Now put some salad on the top and press it down with the other half of the bun.
So, here you have a perfect veggie burger for your kid! You can make French fries as a combination with this burger and enjoy the happiness shining in the eyes of your kids.
