Level of Cooking: Easy
Ingredients for Corn Dosa
- 1 onion chopped into chunks
- 3 green chilies
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 inch ginger chopped
- 1 bowl boiled corn kernels
- 2 bowls of soaked moong dal
- 1 pinch sugar
- Some coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1 handful chopped fenugreek leaves
- Cottage cheese grated
- salt
Method
Step 1: Dosa batter: Grind onion, green chilies, garlic cloves, ginger, and boiled Corn in a mixer roughly. Add soaked moong dal, sugar and coriander leaves to the mixer and grind all together into a fine paste.
Step 2: Add sauces: Do not leave the batter for long before cooking. Transfer the batter into a bowl and add gram flour or rice flour, fenugreek leaves, and salt. Mix it thoroughly and pour a little water if the batter is thick.
Step 3: Making the Dosa: Take a pan and heat it. Put off the gas and put a dollop of batter in the center of the pan. With the spoon, make a circular motion from the center to the outside and spread the batter. Turn on the gas with a high flame, and let the dosa cook. When it dries up, smoothen the edges and put some ghee or cooking oil. Make sure the heat gets distributed evenly for the dosa. Grate some cottage cheese on top, and your corn dosa is ready.
