One tablespoon of vegetable oil, half tablespoon of turmeric powder, 3-4 shallots, one tablespoon of coriander powder, some cardamom seeds, 8 grams of Ginger, one chopped green ChilliChilli, one chopped garlic, one cinnamon stick, 30 grams of red bell peppers, one bay leaf, one tablespoon of tamarind pulp, 15 grams of grated apple, 30 grams of grated carrots, one medium size grated potato, Salt and Pepper to taste, two-three springs of fresh coriander leaves, one tablespoon of lime juice, half cup coconut milk, 4-5 black peppercorns, 100 gram of masoor dal soaked for an hour.
How To Make
First, you need to heat a pan with vegetable oil and then sweat Ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Now add all the spices and cook for about 3 to 4 minutes. In the next step, you need to add potato Apple soaked masoor dal, and carrot, then saute it for about 4 minutes. Next, add all the vegetable stock and tamarind pulp and simmer it until all the vegetables are cooked thoroughly. You need to add Salt and Pepper to taste in the next step. Blend all the ingredients finally to make a smooth puree. In the last step, you need to add fresh coriander leaves, coconut milk, and lime juice to finish the whole look of the soup and serve it hot.
