A crumbling taco shell, filled with rajma toppings and sour salsa, is made more delicious with a savory sauce, juicy salad leaves, and grated cheese. It is a rustic experience whose taste and texture is so appropriate; it makes your heart happy as well as satisfies you. You can enjoy these tacos in the same way, or you can also experience a complete meal served with other Mexican dishes.

Ingredients To Make Taco Shells

Taco Shells

  • 1 cup Corn Flour
  • 1/2 cup fine flour
  • One tablespoon oil
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Fine flour for rolling

Method To Make Taco Shells

  • Sieve the cornflour and fine flour in a deep bowl.
  • Add oil and salt to it and knead semi-powerful flour using enough lukewarm water.
  • Divide the dough into 16 equal portions.
  • Using a little flour, make the circle of a portion of the flour. Make a hole with a fork at regular intervals.
  • Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan and fry it until it becomes light brown on both sides by adding a rolled ball.
  • Stir it with tongs until they turn in golden brown color on both sides. Take it out on absorbent paper.
  • Similarly, make taco shells.
  • After it cools completely, keeps them in an airtight container and use it as needed.

Ingredients For Rajma Topping

Rajma Topping

  • 2 cups soaked and cooked beans
  • One tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 cup fresh tomato pulp
  • Two tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • One teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt, as per taste

Ingredients For Salsa Topping

Salsa Topping

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion sauces and green portion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry red chili flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt, as per taste

Other Ingredients

  • Four teaspoon spoon tomato ketchup
  • 3 and 1/2 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 cup finely chopped iceberg lettuce leaves
  • Processed cheese

Method To Make Rajma Topping

  • Heat the oil in a non-stick and add the onion and garlic paste and saute on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Add tomato pulp, tomato ketchup, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame about 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  • Add the beans and mix well, using a potato masher, mash them lightly and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Keep aside.

Method To Make Salsa Topping

  • Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and lightly mash using a spoon for 2 to 3 minutes so that the taste of all the ingredients mixes well. Keep aside.

Other Steps

  • Fill the taco shell with one tablespoon of rajma topping, 1/2 tablespoon raw salsa, 1/2 teaspoon tomato ketchup, and 1/4 teaspoon chili sauce evenly.
  • Spread some finely chopped lettuce leaves and two teaspoons grated processed cheese on it evenly.

Repeat this process to make remaining tacos
