Planning To Throw A Party For Your Kid But Do Not Know What To Serve?

‘’oh My God! How do I manage to prepare snacks for so many people?’’

‘’Hiring a cook would be totally out of budget.”

‘’What form food would be our perfect party snack?

If any of the above questions were hovering in your mind, then you have come to the right place. Here is where all your questions will find its answer. Of course, we all love hosting parties, but the pre- and the post-party bummer is always the labor.

To eliminate the stress of pre-party preparation, simultaneously maintaining the right image in front of the guests, we need to think of something that is both delightful and delectable.

The answer is NACHOS served with scrummy salsa sauce.

Nachos With Salsa Sauce

Reasons Why It Is Possibly The Best Party Snack:

  • Prepared in less than 2 minutes.
  • Both cheap and cheerful.
  • Mouthwatering taste with minimal effort.
  • Kids love it.
  • (Because only two was not enough)

Okay, so now we know what to serve, lets quickly get on to the question HOW?

Here you will be getting two choices for nachos. That is, you could serve homemade nachos; otherwise, you could buy packets from the market. However, it is the Salsa sauce that would make your nachos both relished and cherished.

Firstly, note down the ingredients for homemade nachos before you take a quick run to the market.

Cornmeal

Wheat flour

Salt

Turmeric

Carom seeds

Method

First, we must begin by making the dough. For that, we must mix 1 cup of cornmeal and ½ cup wheat flour in a bowl. Followed by some salt, turmeric, and carom seeds (crushed for better taste). Finally, add two tablespoons of oil and start mixing all the ingredients.

Now with the help of some lukewarm water, we begin to knead a stiff little dough. The dough should be ready when you see its neither too soft nor too cold. After that, cover the bowl and keep it aside for 10 to min 15 minutes.

After 15 Minutes

Now let’s begin making our nachos. With oil on hands, knead the dough again. Start making small lumps from the dough (just like making chappati). Take a dough and start ball and rolling it in your palm, giving it a round shape. Place the round ball in between your two palms, then press and flatten it.

Now take a rolling board and rolling pin. Put some oil on both and grease for smooth rolling. Then take the flatten dough roll out on the rolling board very thinly just like a chappati.

Now take a fork and start pricking the sheet at some distance. Divide the sheet into half first and then cut out the other side half too. Once the sheet is divided into four parts, divide each piece into half also. So now, you can already see small triangle shapes that would make our nacho chips ready to be fried.

Take a frying pan, place it on the oven, put adequate oil for heating. You can feel the warmness of the oil by placing your hand over the wok. Once the oil is sufficiently hot, we will gently separate the chips from the board and place it inside the wok.

Deep fry the nacho chips till its golden brown. Soak the excess oil, and your nachos are ready to be served.

WAIT! Serve it with what? It is a bit pale now, but that is when the Salsa sauce shows her magic.

A Quick Check For Ingredients:

Ripe tomatoes finely cut

One medium-size onion finely chopped

Green chilies sliced

One jalapeño

Four cloves of garlic finely chopped up

¼ cup of fresh coriander

Garlic powder

Put all the ingredients mentioned above in a mixing bowl followed by some salt and put it in the refrigerator. Time is taken to let all the ingredients get to know each other.

Meanwhile, we will take a frying pan, put it on the oven, and then put two red chilies and four more ripe tomatoes and start roasting them. When the red chilies are dark in color, we put them aside. Then we continue roasting the tomatoes for that smoky flavor.

Once our tomatoes are nicely roasted, we will put them in a blender along with the roasted dry red chilies. Now blend and make a paste.

Now it is time to take our chopped salsa out of the refrigerator. Add our blended paste on top in the chopped salsa and start mixing it well. If you like the tangy flavors, add some lemon juice. Finally, put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

After An Hour

So, here is your juicy salsa sauce chilled and ready to be served. Put it in a bowl and place your container in the middle of a plate. Then spread the nacho chips sideways. Just like how they would serve in Mexico.

Hope this article was helpful. Have a great party!
