Ingredients For Paneer Tikka
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Salt as per requirement
- ⅛ tbsp of turmeric
- 1 tbsp hot powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Chaat masala
- 1 tbsp crushed fenugreek leaves
- 5 tbsp of garlic ginger paste
- 6 tbsp of yoghurt
- 200-gram paneer
- One big onion
- One big red capsicum
- One green capsicum
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp gram flour
- ½ tbsp carom seeds
Initial Preparations
Mix yoghurt chilli powder, powder, turmeric, coriander powder fenugreek leaves, ginger garlic paste, Chaat masala, oil and salt in a suitably sized bowl.
In a separately placed pan pan-fry and besan on low heat.
After the second pan, I ready, mix the ingredients along with chilli and salt
The Initial Marination
Mix the coarsely chopped capsicums, onions and, the paneer cubes with the above mixture.
Keep this mixture stand for a couple of hours art the most, don’t marinate it overnight as this might break the paneer.
Now start threading the chunks of paneer, onion and capsicum on a skewer.
Cooking Methods
Cooking In An Oven
Preheat the oven at 220 220-degrees for around 20 minutes
Prepare A Baking Tray With Parchment Paper
After keeping the skewers on the tray, grill the paneer for 20 minutes and later broil the mixture for around 5 minutes.
Make sure you adjust the temperature of your oven based on the size of your paneer cubes.
Once they are golden, make sure you brush them with butter or mustard oil after you’ve taken them out
Cooking On A Stove
Spread oil on a Tawa and heat it a while.
Once the Tawa is hot enough place towers on the pan and fry it on medium heat.
Make sure you keep on turning the sides of the cube to make sure that it is evenly cooked on all sides.
Cook them until they turn golden.
