Recipe Of Sarva Pindi Or Savory Rice Flour Pancakes:

  • 1 ½ cup soaked chana dal
  • ½ tablespoon roasted and crushed peanuts
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • 6-7 chopped curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 ½ cup rice flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Water as required

Cooking Methodology:

Step 1: Take a mixing bowl.

Step 2: Put the soaked chana dal in the mixing bowl, add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, crushed peanuts, chopped green chilies, red chili powder, chopped curry, and coriander leaves, sesame seeds, and rice flour, add salt to taste, and mix it well.

Step 3: Add some water and knead it into a soft dough; add some more water if required.

Step 4: Take a pan and coat it well with oil.

Step 5: Put some oil in the palm, rub it, take some dough from the bowl, and make it a medium-sized ball.

Step 6: Put the ball on the oil spread pan, and apply soft pressure with the hands, and spread the dough evenly all over the pan.

Step 7: Make some holes in it with the fingertips, put 2-3 drops of oil in the gaps, and cover the pan with a lid.

Step 8: Cook it for 15-20 minutes on medium flame, wait until it becomes golden brown

Step 9: Take it out and put it on a plate, and serve it hot.

Step 10: Enjoy this yummy, crispy cake with a spicy pickle or yogurt or with anything you like.
